COVID-19 Updates

Update: June 9, 2020

This past Sunday we reopened for in-person worship and we had a wonderful Sunday! It was good to see people again and to be able to worship together as the church. As you consider when is the right time  for you to come to church, we want to share some of the guidelines we have for coming to worship in person.

1. Social Distancing and Safety: You are welcome to come with a mask or without. Health officials are recommending masks to be worn in group gatherings and we will have a limited number of masks available, but we will not require masks to be worn to participate in worship. Also, we will have every other row blocked off to allow for appropriate distancing in our sanctuary.

2. Greeting Others: We ask that those attending our church greet each other with a smile and a wave, not a handshake or a hug.

3. Children: Initially as we come back to church, we will not have nursery or children's church. This means that children that come will need to remain with their parents for the duration of the service. To help with this we will have snacks and activity sheets available for kids. We will also work to keep our service shorter than normal (45-50 minutes instead of 1 hour and 15 minutes).

Because we believe that being a part of the church is an important part of spiritual growth, we encourage you to return to worship as soon as you are able, but we also recognize that the decision to return will be different for each family. We want you to make the best decision possible for the safety and well-being of yourself and your family and we look forward to joining with you in worship soon!
